O.A. Olaoye
Olu Olaoye’s two decades of project management experience spans all sectors of the built and civil engineering environments in both the United States and Africa. His management training includes accounting, construction management, labour law and legislation. He is also knowledgeable in the application of Timberline Estimating Software, Expedition and Prolog Project Management tools as well as Primavera Sure Track Scheduling program.


An independent consultant, Olu provides management and direction for clients’s projects both as a strategic partner with other business units and in leading the day-to-day operations. He establishes project objectives and policies, maintains strong client relationships, monitor pre-construction, construction and financial activities though the administrative direction of project management and superintendence, as well as providing continuity from preconstruction phase through construction phase of each project.


Olu is currently a member of Construction Management Teams for the construction of a new $650M Johns Hopkins Clinical Building, and a $200M Coppin State College Physical Education Complex in Maryland, USA respectively.


Previously, Olu provided construction support services to Barton Marlow-Carnegie Morgan Joint Venture on a $20 million school construction project in Prince George’s County, Maryland (U.S.A), and delivered project management and logistical consultation to Valley Crest Companies on the $10million Arctic Adventure at the Baltimore Zoo. He has successfully completed construction projects of various sizes and has developed funding packages for property developments in the Baltimore area.


Olu holds a B.Sc. degree in Construction Management from University of Maryland, Eastern Shore (U.S.A) and a diploma in Quantity Surveying from Yaba College of Technology.

Olu is a registered construction project manager with the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP) since May 2007.
