Ayo Obisanya has more than 16 years experience in civil, structural and geotechnical engineering. He has worked on many projects of varying magnitude and complexity and these projects range from geotechnical investigations, identification of problematic soils, evaluation of data for foundation design, slope stability analysis of embankments and the design of systems to improve foundation conditions.

This type of work has been undertaken for a variety of structures including dams, buildings, bridges, railways and roads, landfills and other waste containment facilities, etc. and has included the management of drilling and laboratory testing programs, with the evaluation and interpretation of results, and the incorporation of the information into geotechnical and structural engineering designs.

He is a registered professional engineer with the Engineering Council of SA and a SAICE member since 1998. Ayo is a registered construction manager with the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP) since June 2006.
